Immediate Need! Manufacturing services and ship repair provider seeks skilled Shipboard Electricians in Southeast / Coastal Virginia. Some international travel for work may be required. Local candidates only! Military and ex-military encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Provide electrical assistance for naval ship repair and modernization
-> Installing and checking out wiring, cabling, fiber optics, controllers, switchboards, equipment, motors (including rewind and repair), lighting, communications, telephones, solenoids and metering

Requirements:

-> Certified electrician, electrical training, or related apprenticeship
-> Shipboard electrical experience highly preferred
-> Open to and ability to travel if needed
-> PLUS (not required): Experience with installation or wiring of Environmental Collective Protect System (CPS), Integrated Condition Assessment System (ICAS), or Radar-based Tank Level Indicating (TLI) systems
-> Must be able to pass a background check and have ability to secure a security clearance
