A leading manufacture in South West Georgia is actively looking for a E&I Systems Programmer and Administrator to install PLC systems and networks. Programmer will install, maintain tests, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment, machinery, and associated electrical and electronic controls.

Responsibilities:

-> Maintain and install analog and digital equipment
-> Assist in the design of HMI systems
-> Install and commission Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems
-> Design and configure interface displays on Distributor Control Systems (DCS)
-> Perform screen development and modifications for HMI and MMI softwares (RSView, RSStudio, etc.)
-> Train E&I staff on operation of new equipment and installations
-> Inspect and test equipment, electrical control and safety devices for operation and safety
-> Organizes and maintain PLC records while communicating with all departments program modifications and changes

Requirements:

-> Associates degree in a related technical field
-> Have a thorough knowledge of PLC programming
-> Capable of writing and understanding programs with advanced PLC instructions such as PID, function blocks, advanced math, etc
-> Capable of programming in RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000
-> Have an in depth knowledge of database structures, DDE and MMI systems
-> Have significant knowledge of PID control schemes
-> Knowledgeable of the appropriate electrical code
-> Familiar with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servodrives
-> Available for on call duty
-> Able to stand for the duration of the shift
-> Able to lift up to 50 pounds
-> Able to work at varying heights
