The Company:

Based in the Northern Suburbs my client has been an active player in the highly competitive mid tier civil construction market and has become a dominant force in the road, subdivision, drainage and water sectors. Due to the recent award of 5 new projects a position has become available for a Civil Supervisor to join the team and play an integral part in the business for 2009.

The Role:

A role exists for a competent Civil Supervisor that is looking to take the next step in their career. The successful applicant will be responsible for administrating all construction activities on projects across the Road, Subdivision and Water sectors. This is an autonomous role and will require you to undertake a number of duties.

You will be responsible for:

Design reviewContractor and Contract managementLiaison with all relevant parties including the Client, Designers and the Project ManagerEnsuring that all OH&S and Environmental requirements are metProgress claims, Monthly reports and Tender Submissions.Prerequisites:

5 - 10 Years experience working within the civil sector in AustraliaClear communication skillsAn understanding of how projects make moneyWhats on Offer:

This is an autonomous role within a dynamic environment, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to price, run and deliver their own jobs and prove that they are project management material.
