Development Mining Coordinator

This International and well branded Mining organisation is the worlds largest producer of export thermal coal and a significant producer of coking coal. With the extent of the operation, the company needs a development mining coordinator to coordinator development activities through identifying, prioritising and planning all operational activities in the development section. The organisation is one of the top most diversified Metals & Mining organisations in the world who continue to grow and create value over the long term, forming mutually beneficial partnerships with stakeholders. Working out of Central QLD reporting to the Development Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:

Assist in developing employees accountabilities through research, planning and coordination and collecting employees performance dataMake recommendations on information gathered to determine the expected duration of operational activities and the level of risk management required for tasksDevelop short term development daily/weekly shift plans Develop work instructions for operational tasks and communicate upon development and when the tasks are included in the planReview mechanical and electrical daily plans as well as development rates and effectiveness of the mining process to improve methods of workMonitor the effectiveness of the entire development planning cycle to identify improvement to the efficiency of the planning processRequirements:

Degree qualified in a related subjectMinimum 3 years experience in a similar roleGood understanding of HSEC policies and proceduresExcellent interpersonal skills verbally & writtenA passion for the mining industryIn return:
