Large Joint Venture Mining Project Perth Based Long Term Ongoing Contract
Our client is managing the EPCM functions of a large scale long term joint venture mining project. They are currently seeking a Design Manager to ensure the design and delivery of marine engineering deliverables for the project.

Reporting to the Programme Engineering Manager, your role will include:

Providing technical assistance in order to meet project objectivesOverseeing the safe, timely and cost efficient delivery of marine designsGuaranteeing the quality of work producedLiaise with principle and lead engineers to coordinate staffing levels/ requirementsManagement of vendor information, surveys and specialist recommendationsIdentifying project risks and associated contingenciesEnsure that the marine group understands their production requirements within the scope of the projectManaging the information for the procurement of equipment across projectsIn order to be considered for this role, you will need to have:

Tertiary qualifications in EngineeringAt least 10 years experience in EPCM projectsA background in the engineering and design of marine facilitiesExperience with project managementStrong planning skills
