In Australasia, the group employs approximately 1,500 people and has a reputation for quality, innovation and the successful delivery of major projects. Due to a combination of growth and internal promotion, they currently seek to recruit a permanent full time Environmental Manager.

From an operations perspective, our client is able to deliver significant environmental solutions, savings and initiatives through the design, delivery and ultimate management of their property assets. These savings provide benefits for our client, the environment and the communities in which they operate.

The Role:
Reporting to the internal senior management team, your role will require you to manage the Environmental and ESD aspects of an existing client services contract. This includes:

Liaison with all levels of internal departments, external Government departments, sustainability leaders in both industry and Government (Engineers/Scientists/Tradespeople/Economists, etc)Provision of reports to the end client in identifying, implementing and maintaining a robust energy and water consumption reporting regime across its state-wide portfolio (owned and leased sites). Development, management and continual improvement of the Environmental Management Plan in line with ISO14001 principlesSpecification of services/contractors as a part of green procurement policyNABERS energy and water ratings for owned and leased propertyProvision of monthly reports including analysis of consumption trends and data accuracyManagement and mentoring of the ESD coordinator, including key delivery outcomes and progress
To be considered for this role you will have a degree in environmental science or engineering or a post-graduate degree in environmental management. You will have 5-10 years experience in the environmental industry with at least 1 year in a management position.
