With over 50 years experience and operating as one of Australias top companies, our client has a range of specialist companies working in social infrastructure and physical infrastructure. Based in over 60 countries worldwide they offer specialist knowledge and advice throughout their 10 divisions.

Due to their recent substantial growth they require a Rail Track & Civil Engineer to join their team. The purpose of the position is to provide support and active input under the guidance of the Principal Track & Civil Engineer to the provision of civil engineering and consultancy services, including design of track layouts and rail-related civil infrastructure and project management on a variety of rail-based projects in Victoria and interstate. The successful candidate will assist and lead tendering efforts and to contribute to business development through active client interaction and following up on opportunities. To provide support to graduates and younger engineers in their development of track and civil skills through mentorship and ad-hoc training. Also to prepare or collaborate in the preparation of technical / editorial papers for industry publications. The ideal candidate will have an engineering qualification and be a member of Engineers Australia. The candidate must have a minimum of 6 years experience within national rail systems and have experience in providing track and civil design, engineering or consulting services. Project management experience would also be beneficial. If successful you will be under the direction of the CEO and the principal track & civil engineer. You will provide track and rail-related civil infrastructure planning, design and project management aswell as a number of other key accountabilities and responsibilities.
