Our client is one of the largest organisations associated with the mining industry with an international presence. They can offer career progression due to the size and diversity of their operations.

Currently they are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Underground Trainer and Assessor to join them at one of their successful overseas locations. You will become a highly valued member of a close knit team in an offshore location.

The role will entail your ability to identify, implement and manage training needs on site and ensure that all requirements are met for underground employees. You will be proactive in your approach to site training initiatives and liaise with other areas of the business to standardise safety and training for the whole of business. You will be an excellent communicator both verbally and written and have the ability to get your message across with ease to develop a close working relationship with operations that will produce a cohesive and safe operation that meets and exceeds production targets.

Ideally you will:

Have 5+ years as an underground operator
Have 3+ years in a similar training role
Hold relevant training certifications
Be highly conversant with managing training systems, databases and record keeping
Have outstanding communication abilities
