GEOLOGIST - EXPLORATION

Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist - Provide primary geological input to the exploration team and to generate new exploration plays/ concepts

Provide supervision and coordinate the drilling programs of the team which presently have 2 diamond drilling rigs for exploration which will increase to 3 by early next year.

Design and implement exploration programs and oversee drilling contractor operations

Join an experienced team of 3 geologists directly engaged in this mine including the support of 7 field assistants.

Participate in integrated field reviews to maximise exploitation value of assets

Support the exploration team to certify resourceful examination and appraisal of geological, geophysical and drilling information

Provide a geological mentoring and coaching role for less experienced staff to build the capability of the exploration team

FIFO 2/1 from Adelaide

Requirements:

Degree in Geology or related discipline

A minimum of 3 years experience within a similar capacity, preferably gained with Copper or Gold

Preference for those with working knowledge of Micromine, MapInfo, IoGAS, Dips, GBis
