THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide an ICSS Site Engineer for residential position in Kazakhstan with travel as required. Reporting to ICSS / SCADA Project Engineer will coordinate and supervise ICSS Contractor to ensure engineering compliance of project deliverables. 1 year contract (renewable). Excellent daily rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum 10 years experience in oil / gas field development projects with experience working on offshore projects. Expertise in project management of design, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of Control Systems and Telecoms in on and offshore installations. Knowledge of environment related to ICSS and Telecom issues, decision making process and sub contracts management. Ability to manage integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with good knowledge of Automation Control Systems and Telecoms. Effective communicator with presentation skills for liaising with / influencing stakeholders including engagement with RoK Authorities. Ability to supervise performance of ICSS and Telecom Execution Contractors and deliver established project objectives. Understanding of Rep. of Kazakhstan Regulatory Approval and Licensing procedures. Ability perform role in multi-cultural environment. Previous work experience in Kazakhstan / Russia an advantage. Fluent spoken and written English.
