Our client, an International Consultancy Group, requires a Principal Mining Engineer. The ideal candidate will have 20 years relevant experience in the mining industry, some of which must be in large open-pit operations, either operational or technical. Previous experience in a consultancy role is an advantage as well as an all round exposure to numerous mining methods/operations/minerals. Knowledge of computerised mine planning packages is essential, in particular Datamine.
Work will involve feasibility studies for new operations as well as reviewing clients’ existing studies. Involvement in due diligence operations likely and some overseas travel required. Competitive salary.
