Manufacturing Engineer - Machined/Aluminum/Extrusions

A leading global manufacturer has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer to take a hands on roll at its Northwest, MI location.

Responsibilities:

-> Support the Plant Manager to create a profitable world-class manufacturing company
-> Create BOM for special products and new product lines
-> Set up procedures and work-instructions for all tasks
-> Design and implement manufacturing processes
-> Create manufacturing drawings

Requirements:

-> 5 years experience in aluminum extrusions and machined/fabricated components
-> Experienced with MRP shop-floor controls, planning production-orders
-> Experience with process, routing, toolings and extrusions
-> Experience with creating BOM (Bill of Materials)
-> Experience with Lean principles
-> Solid computer experience
-> Experience with Solidworks - a plus
