Leading energy and technology company seeks a Limited Term pilot Plant Operator. This is a contract position with an expected completion date of March 2010.

skilled Facilities Manager for their plant in southern Wisconsin. Local candidates preferred. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the physical building and engineering services support of the plant and overall project management of capital projects and management of the facilities team.

Responsibilities:

-> Safe and efficient pilot plant operation including start-up, shut-down, sampling, recording and reporting data, maintenance, and plant modification in support of scientific research, development and production
-> Develop detailed working knowledge of all Pilot Plants, lab operations equipment, and all utilities used in support of research, development and production
-> Develop knowledge of safe chemical handling and safe pilot plant operation
-> Perform day to day operation including preventative maintenance and start-up and shut-down of Pilot Plants
-> Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific research
-> Collect and prepare data for review and analysis

Requirements:

-> Associate degree, in a production, manufacturing engineering, general engineering field, physical science field, or equivalent experience
-> Preference given to experience in a laboratory, pilot plant, or production environment in a chemical processing industry
-> Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
-> Mechanical and mathematical ability.
-> Knowledge/experience with compression fittings
-> Demonstrated mastery of basic chemistry laboratory procedures
-> Expertise in Windows OS computer application including Microsoft Office
