FPSO Production Technician

This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a close knit team to achieve safe and efficient operations on Woodside's operating facilities.

The FPSO Production Technician is part of multidisciplinary team that provide core skills covering some or all of the following:

* Operation of oil and gas production from the wells to the process facility, storage, offloading and export facilities.
* Optimising production within HSE, integrity, and operational envelopes.
* Hull management including stability, strength, cargo and slops tank management, and cargo offloading.
* Achieving or exceeding production targets and continuity of supply whilst ensuring equipment integrity and high standards of HSE and emergency response.
* To learn the production operations skills on the FPSO so as to work assist in production where and when required
* To train non-Marine personnel enhancing their Marine skills.
* Sign on as Master whilst in the moored mode for the purposes of maintaining the marine administration system, if the relevant certificates are held.
* Assume the position of Master or Second Mate for the safe navigation of the facility whilst in the marine mode, if the relevant certificates are held.
* The role of Helicopter Landing Officer, (HLO when required) overseeing the safety and efficiency of helicopter operations. Emergency response roles, including On Scene Commander and Medical team leader as required by the Emergency Commander.

Qualifications, skills and experience

* Current Master or Mate Certificate of Competency
* Demonstrated experience and skills in Marine operations, pilotage, navigation, tanker operations.
* A strong understanding of marine and FPSO operation daily activities
* Demonstrated experience in maintenance of all FPSO equipment
* A good understanding of HSE policy, legislation and management including the use of Hazard Management tools and HSE audits.
* Experience using SAP or similar computer based maintenance management tools.

The Production Division acts as a united function to the business and is therefore seeking individuals that are team orientated, display corporate citizenship and able to lead by example within Woodside. A strong commitment to safety with exceptional organisational and communication skills is also very desirable.
