Integral to the Karratha Gas Plant (KGP) is the Maintenance Planner position. This position holds a key role in providing excellence, facilitation and assurance for the planning of all maintenance activities for the KGP operations. You will have the opportunity to shine by delivering on the key accountabilities of this role, some of which are listed below.
* Develop project services and controls strategies
* Plan shutdown and major maintenance activities
* Develop appropriate schedules, implement and monitor them throughout each project stage through to completion
* Preparation and presentation of reports
* Track progress of major maintenance and preparation of contingency plans
* Schedule work to optimise the efficient use of available resources
* Assure that all planning milestones are met and non compliance communicated
* Update key stakeholders on planned and actual project schedules
To be successful in this position you will need;
* Working experience with Primavera, MS Project, Suretrack or Openplan system
* Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP exposure advantageous)
* Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry or similar
* Ability to build relationships and rapport with internal stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
* Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with a strong customer focus
