Sandfire Resources NL is an ASX listed, mineral exploration company based in Perth, with an extensive portfolio of projects in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. The Company’s main focus is in the generation and testing of new exploration targets in under-explored provinces. Earlier this year a significant high-grade Copper-Gold discovery was made at it’s 100% owned Doolgunna Gold project in the Meekatharra region of Western Australia. As a result of this and the extensive diamond drilling campaign which is currently in progress, Sandfire Resources is now seeking to expand its field based exploration team.

Working initially on a F.I.F.O. basis you will be engaged in continuing the integrated geological and geotechnical logging of diamond core, sampling for geochemical analysis, and ancillary requirements for petrological, petrophysical and metallurgical test work. With two rigs working 24 hours a day it will be essential for you to develop relationships on site, as well as the processes and procedures to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Previous experience of a minimum two to three years in logging diamond core would be considered essential. Once the evaluation phase at Doolgunna has reached an appropriate stage for further development, there will be an opportunity to turn your focus to Sandfire Resources’ other key exploration targets, especially the Borroloola project in the Northern Territory.
