Our client in a major transport provider across South East Queensland improving the operation of public transport infrastructure to meet the needs of our growing population. Reporting to the Manager Infrastructure Advisory be responsible for managing bus infrastructure planning projects and the development of strategies and policies within the network plan. Co-ordinate the clients interest in major public transport infrastructure planning as a ?senior user? including busway corridor, bus station and bus priority planning. Liaise with government, transport industry business partners, local councils and provide community consultation activities.

Work in a small dynamic team environment to research, analyze and develop sustainable planning options. Prepare bus planning briefs, planning reports and manage the development of the ten year infrastructure plan. Provide high level strategic policy advice and recommendations on issues relating to rapid bus transit systems, northern busway, Gold Coast light rail project, infrastructure planning and bus interchange corridor investigations.

As an ambitious person you can see how this role will provide a valuable step on your way up. Qualifications in Engineering, Town & Regional Planning or Built Environment will be well regarded. Several years experience dealing with bus transport and bus corridor projects is essential as this is the primary focus of the position.
