One of Victoria's largest civil contractors who are located close the the CBD, have undertaken some of Australia's most significant and prominent road, rail, industrial and infrastructure projects. Securing over $3bn worth of work they will be flat out for the next 2 years.

They are now looking to grow again and gain more market share.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

lead the preparation of timely, accurate and profitable tender submissions.
assist the operations team in the analysis and recommendation of construction methods and selection of suitable subcontractors.
identify, detail and cost specific risks and opportunities associated with tender submissions.
support the development of process improvement across the pre-contract function.
To be successful is this key role; you must be able to demonstrate the following:

10+ years experience in first principles estimating, covering a broad range of engineering construction contract forms;
ability to plan and execute accurate multi-discipline tender submissions;
Australian construction / engineering industry experience;
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills with the ability to present to peers and senior management.
