With their forte belonging in civil road construction they have strong divisions specialising in land development, bridges and structures. However they have broken into Australia's two major boom industries, water / pipelines and also Rail, aswell as continuing to pursue advances in ports and airports. With a project list due to soar the need has rose for a Project Engineer to join their largest civil roads project in Victoria. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional record in successfully delivering projects on time and under budget. Reporting to the Project Manager the ideal candidate will assist in meeting the needs of the client and make sure the project adheres to the companies and industries requirements in OHS issues, quality, environmental and time and profit objectives. With at least 5 years experience in the construction industry applicants must have a history in contributing in delivering projects over a $10m value. Civil Engineering degree qualified the Project Engineer must have consistent programming and costing skills, have been subjected to estimating and have the drive to become the companies Project Managers of the future. Well presented with great communication skills both internally and externally, applicants will be at the forefront of civil projects and represent the clients name. A fantastic opportunity for those who are ambitious and may even want the option of interstate roles. Based in Melbourne with the amount of work ongoing throughout Australia and with our client successfully winning a large percentage, the option is available.
