SCADA Systems Officer/Project Manager

About the Job

Exciting and Challenging role
Working together with Canberra's Leading Infrastructure Organisation

Our client is one of the leading providers in design, construction, maintenance, operation and asset management to the water, electricity and gas markets.

They are currently looking to put together a team of people to design, program, test, commission, troubleshoot and maintain Monitoring and Control Systems for Water, Waste Water, and Water Re-use infrastructure operated by a major distribution utility company in the ACT.

We prefer that the candidates have:

A Class "A Electricians Licence;
a demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot SCADA, IT, Communications, and/or Electrical fault finding skills
Completed or currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, or has sufficient experience in a related field
Demonstrated aptitude for and knowledge of IT systems ie the ability to use standard desktop IT applications/databases and ability to configure and interrogate basic components of Ethernet networks;
Demonstrated aptitude for and knowledge of specialist PLC/RTU/HMI programming applications
Understanding of remote telemetry systems and network topologies
