Process Engineer - Plastics/Injection Molding/Blow Molding 75-80 K/yr

Immediate Need near Northwest Suburbs of Chicago for an experienced Engineer with at least 5 years Plastics Injection or Blow Molding Experience.

Responsibilities:

-> Evaluate, develop, and design a broad spectrum of engineering products including cost estimation, and review of vendor bids and drawings
-> Collateral interface and communication with other departments including sales, quality, engineering, mold shop, production scheduling and shipping
-> The position encompasses health, safety, regulatory requirements, data accuracy, and process or production improvements

Requirements:

-> 5 or more years of experience as a process, project, or engineer in the plastics, packaging, or pharmaceutical industry
-> BS Degree in either (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical), Plastics background preferred
-> Knowledge of EBM, IBM, SBM, and IM, along with DOE techniques, Six Sigma, or lean Manufacturing
-> Expereince with production planning / scheduling and preventative maintenance principles
-> Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CAD
