We are searching for an experienced Coal Geologist that has experience in the field and is looking to move to Brisbane. This company is a truly unique organisation with interests in the Australian coal industry.

The company is looking for someone to work within their technical team and lend their expertise to the interpretation & evaluation of the coal geology within my client's tenements. In this flat structured organisation you will be reporting to the Technical Manager and your duties will encompass coal analysis, geological interpretation, reporting results to senior management.

This position requires someone with a proactive attitude and a 'hands-on' approach. The successful applicant will possess tertiary qualification in Earth Sciences or a related discipline and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of coal geology & characteristics from previous experience on site. The incumbent will also be able to demonstrate effective report writing skills as this is a requirement for the role.
