Job descriptionReports to: Business Services Lead
Tasks:
Review, approve and maintain the Contractor’s procurement and subcontracting plans and procedures.
Establish and maintain approved bidder and manufacture lists in accordance with company OPCO requirements.
Coordinate with company Legal on variations from standard terms and conditions or any other legal issues that may arise.
Assist in the implementation and administration of the Management of Change (MOC) procedure.
Verify Contractor and vendor invoices against claimed progress and / or milestones.
Review all Contractors and Subcontractors letters and provide advice on any change order or potential claims to protect company interests.
Assist with audits of Contractor and Subcontractor charges
Monitor, review and report on project’s procurement and subcontracting activities.
Ensure that all materials and equipment for the project are purchased in accordance with the following criteria:
a)Meet QG specifications b)Utilize company and Project Approved Bidders List c)Ensure that all approval documents adhere to the project’s TOFA
d)Ensure all QA/QC requirements are maintained
Ensure the delivery of all free-issued materials/equipment adhere to each subcontractor’s Required at Site (RAS) dates
RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
Preferably B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
10 years experience in preparation of tenders, contracts and contract administration, procurement particularly in relation to services within the oil and gas industry. Should have good technical knowledge in reviewing and finalizing contracts. Good knowledge in legal practices, contract laws and industry practices. Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and market awareness. Good computer literacy in Microsoft office software.
Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in written and spoken English
Need to work effectively in a complex multi national, multi cultural environment
