The Position

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to provide a wide range of mechanical engineering services for clients, providing consulting advice and the preparation of designs, reports and budgets for their Cairns office. They offer unlimited career opportunities within an established consultancy, a workload that includes challenging and large-scale projects and the support of a very stable, very successful market-leading, multi-disciplined engineering company.

As the successful candidate, you will have the following experience:-

Strong HVAC design systems experience Design reviews Exposure to the preparation of fee proposals and tenders Provide professional guidance and leadership to less experienced members of the discipline and assist in their personal development

You will have tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, be eligible for entry to the Engineers Australia or equivalent and strong experience with HVAC. This is a senior role and would suit the right person with long term career aspirations in a large successful company. Extensive HVAC experience is essential and only candidates with a strong background in this field are encouraged to apply.
