Mining Engineer (Coal) - Bowen Basin - QLD

Global mining company Excellent career development opportunities Residential role A large international mining company is looking for a mining engineer to work at one of their key mine sites in the Bowen Basin, just a few hours from the beautiful Rockhampton coastline.

Working on a steady 5-2 roster, this is a residential role, offering an impressive salary and excellent opportunities for career growth.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Co-ordinate mine forecasting and scheduling requirements

Planning for pre-strip design

Short to medium term mine planning

Providing technical support for the mine

Compliance with mine health and safety standards

You will need to be degree qualified, and have experience in mining or civil engineering, as well as being familiar in Vulcan, pre-strip and drag lines.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $90-$115k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for applicants with exceptional experience.
