Due to continual growth and with a number of multi- million dollar infrastructure projects in-hand and in the pipeline, this engineering giant seeks an experienced Civil Estimator to bolster their established Civil engineering business unit and assist in them in their continued success in the Western region.

With an aggressive expansion plan across the individual business sectors within their Perth office, backed up by recent success by winning a number of key infrastructure projects, this employer of choice is bucking the trend by increasing head-count and complimenting their in-house expertise in particular with the newly formed position of Civil Estimator.

Reporting to the Chief Estimator this pivotal role will test your ability to lead the preparation of timely, accurate and profitable tender submissions while assisting the operations team in the analysis and recommendation of construction methods and selection of suitable subcontractors.
You should be able to identify, detail and cost specific risks and opportunities associated with tender submissions, while supporting the development of process improvement across the pre-contract function.

To be successful is this key role you should be able to demonstrate the following:

At least 5+ years experience in first principles estimating, covering a broad range of engineering construction contract forms with the ability to plan and execute accurate multi-discipline tender submissions in Western Australia.
You will also possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills with the ability to present to peers and senior management.
