8 and 6, FIFO from Perth roster Excellent salary and benefits Great company and great culture This role would suit an established Geotechnical Engineer looking to step into a challenging and exciting position with an international owner/operator.

This is a FIFO from Perth, on a 8 and 6 roster which includes an excellent salary and benefits.

You will report directly to the Underground Technical Services Manager and will be responsible for all geotechnical aspects of the underground operations, ensuring the operations complies with all relevant company and statutory requirements. Some of your responsibilities can include:

Assisting mining engineers/geologists with designing and implementation of optimal stopes, spans and pillar designs.

Design and monitoring of ground support, backfill systems, and control instrumentation.

Collecting, analysing and reporting of geotechnical data.

Reporting in writing on geotechnical analyses, risk assessment and inspection.

Training of operators and staff in ground awareness.

Underground project works and studies.

Liaising with external mining consultants.

You will need to have a recognised tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or Geology. As well as relevant experience as a Geotechnical engineer with metalliferous underground mining. Experience with numerical modeling, preferably Map3D and a familiarity with mine design software such as Vulcan is highly desirable.

Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $125k - $150k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
