Our client, a global engineering consultancy, is currently involved in many prominent EPCM mining and metals projects in Australia and is currently seeking an experience Mechanical Equipment Package Engineer mining and metals projects.

As the Mechanical Equipment Package Engineer, you will spend a significant part of your time expediting documentation and addressing vendor queries to support the purchase of mechanical equipment.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Provide timely advice and recommendations to senior management on relevant issues arising from and impacting on the project, including the identification and management of project risks Participate in the project initiation and detailed planning of baseline documents such – i.e project summary, execution plan, scope of work, schedule and estimate Key Competencies:

Minimum 5 years experience with mining and metals industry Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) Exceptional organisational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Note: You must be a permanent resident of Australia and be willing to travel on occasion to various project sites.
