Our client is seeking a keen enthusiastic tradesman/supervisor who wishes to move into a challenging expatriate role.

Our client is an expanding London-based mining company focused on identifying, acquiring, developing and operating mineral resource projects worldwide. They are currently seeking the services of an experienced/dynamic/motivated Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor for their gold mining operation located in the tropical and scenic surroundings of Guinea.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

* Leadership of the multinational maintenance team;
* Maintenance of process plant electrical and instrument equipment including Wonderware In-touch and Schneider Unity Pro;
* Continuous improvement of maintenance strategies and procedures in close collaboration with operations, planning and training personnel;
* Implementation of departmental Safety requirements;
* Implementation of plant maintenance training systems; and
* Planning and organisation for planned maintenance shutdowns.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following:

* Trade Qualifications in Electrical Fitting or Dual Trade Electrical/Instrumentation with the required experience
* Ten (10) years experience in a gold processing plant electrical and instrument maintenance
* Process Plant electrical, instrumentation and PLC experience (a must)
o Able to develop predictive and preventative maintenance processes and procedures;
o Focus on eliminating waste and improving reliability;
o Previous expatriate supervisory experience (desired); and o French language skills (desired).

This position is offered on an attractive single status FIFO roster to POH. A competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience will be offered to the successful candidate, along with access to the swimming pool, supermarket, cable TV, internet and a clinic with Expat doctors.
