A multi-discipline engineering company that specializes in geotechnical engineering projects is searching for a senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their Houston, TX office as Manager of the Geotechnical Engineering department.

Responsibilities:

-> Manage the day to day operations of a department consisting of approximately 15 engineers and techs
-> Provide leadership and be the focal point of the department's technical expertise; mentor junior engineers, etc

Requirements:

-> 10+ years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer and minimum of 5 years engineering management experience
-> Masters degree in civil engineering specializing in geotechnical and a (P.E.) license. PhD from a U.S. educational institution and undergraduate degree from another country is also acceptable
-> Experience with geotechnical engineering projects involving soil borings, laboratory testing, foundation analysis, and also analysis of foundations, paving, construction, slope stability, faulting, etc
