Transmission Engineer - Transmission/Construction/Electrical 90-120 K/yr

IMMEDIATE NEED near Salt Lake City, UT for a Transmission Construction Manager with at least 10 yrs supervisory experience to provide adminstrative and technical direction in the utility industry for power construction projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
-> Authorize / approve all project personnel transactions (hiring, transfers, wages etc.), purchase requisitions, change requests etc
-> Develop daily contacts with customers, unions, subcontractors, vendors, and industry associations
-> Implement Project Management Methodology (prefer PMBok) to measure and report on contract issues, crew productivity versus bids, schedule and quality compliance and managing job progress for lump sum, hour or unit price. Including correcting problem areas on loss or low profit jobs

Requirements:

-> 10 plus years of supervisory experience in the transmission electrical construction business
-> Formal training in Project Management Methodology (PMBok preferred), supervision, and administration is required
-> Ideal candidate would be a journeyman lineman, or have a college degree with extensive field and management experience
-> Prior experience with union jurisdiction and labor agreements
