Senior Mineral Process Engineer

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, consulting, analytical and organisational skills as well as being a dedicated team player. Preference will be given to candidates with iron ore processing experience and those who have the demonstrated ability to find innovative solutions to complex metallurgical problems.
Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff.
Manage a variety of cross discipline teams to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Review and approve process plant material balance, process design criteria, PFD's, P&ID's, plant layouts, technical specifications and technical evaluations.
Must be able to liaise with clients on a technical level and present reports, publications and presentations in a professional manner.
Passion and the aptitude to mentor, train and share your experiences with others.
Enthusiasm for business development and growth.
Travel to domestic and international destinations is required.

Requirements:
Undergraduate or Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.General areas of expertise include test-work planning/analysis, crushing, grinding, flotation, magnetic separation and gravity classification. Experience in pelletizing would be considered an asset. Strong track record of successfully completed projects in the mining industry. Willingness to work in a bilingual environment (French, English)
