Excellent career opportunity for the 1 - 3 years experienced oil and gas accountant who has good accounting knowledge relating to AFE's, expense, and general and administrative budgeting practices. This oil and gas accounting experience is required to be considered a suitable candidate. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in compiling Capital, Expense and G&A budgets.
Monitor monthly Expense and G&A charges.
Work with functional teams and Corporate Accounting to correct coding invoice problems.
Manage the AFE closure process.
Coordinate the Capital Management process associated with non-drilling related AFE's.
Assist in coordination of the Capital accrual and forecast process.
Reconcile the Capital Forecast and Horizon Actual amounts after monthly closes.
Monitor Temp AFEs, AGRE AFEs and other CapEx AFE's for abnormal charges.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Business
Extensive knowledge of Excel and/or Access
Knowledge of Horizon and Production Access beneficial
Oil and Gas industry experience
Accounting experience
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Ability to multi-task, while staying focused and aligned with team and corporate goals
Ability to adapt to short fuse opportunities
Ability to work well with others
