THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil and gas subsea engineering company to provide a Senior HR Manager (Drilling & Production Systems) for a residential permanent staff position based in Houston. Must be willing to travel as and when required. Negotiable salary and conditions. This vacancy being handled by CCLs Houston office.
THE PERSON
Act as worldwide HR Client Group Manager to Vice President of Surface Operations and staff. Provide long range internal HR consulting services. Implement corporate programs worldwide across all Surface manufacturing plants. Coach / advise HR Client Managers on resolving complex employee relations and other performance management matters. Trains / educates HR Client Managers on market pay practices, Client policies and guidelines, tracks /holds them accountable for effective compensation management, and accuracy of HR data /timely completion of reports. Manages merit / bonus plan process for Surface manufacturing plants. Drives recruiting process by tracking time to fill, effectiveness of job placement, managing open / pending requisition status, etc. Actively reviews trends /implements programs in Operations with HR Client Managers for effective recruitment / retention, talent management and executive coaching. Prefer international experience or experience with large manufacturing operations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will be well educated with a BA from four-year college or university and 5+ years experience as Human Resources Professional. Should have knowledge of SAP Human Resource systems and MS Office. Fluent written and spoken English. Must be eligible to live and work in the USA.
