The Company:

Our Client is a leader in engineering, planning, environmental services and project / construction management. Their mission is to provide the best people and technology to deliver the right solutions for their clients and as a result they are seeking to grow their already established Rail Group in Brisbane. They currently seek a degree-qualified and experienced Permanent Way Engineer to join their busy Rail division.

The Position:

Our client requires a high performing engineer with experience in key P-Way Design functions, such as Strategic planning strategies, Route Investigation and modelling, horizontal and vertical design of Greenfield sites, existing line upgrades, experience in assisting with preparing bid proposals and feasibility studies and ensuring that all activities are performed in a safe manner and comply to OH&S requirements.

The Key Requirements:

A minimum of 5-7 years experience in Permanent Way Track Design in the Rail sectorExperience in maintaining and developing relationships at the project and local market levelA vast understanding of Rail Engineering concepts related to the Rail industryUnderstanding of Australian design practices and standardsExperience working as part of a team producing designs, design reports and recommendationsA proven background in a consulting environmentThe Opportunity:
