Our client is a leader in the Rail industry with a significant increase in the number if rail infrastructure projects the industry is booming and as a result an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Overhead Wire Transmission Engineer in Brisbane.

The successful candidate will be a degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years on Over Head Transmission Lines and 5-7 years overall experience in Electrical Engineering in a consulting environment.

The successful candidate will:

Be responsible for overall supervision of foundations, Towers Erection, Stringing (double bundle) and for above line including preparation of construction schedule, review of design and material specification, interaction with Client / Consultant on all technical matters, preparation of quality assurance and quality control program.Supervise the teams ensuring the output with quality confirming to requirements and instrumental in keeping the high quality and safety awareness among the construction team.Ensure that the progress on site is as per Company Requirement. Forward daily report/weekly report to Office/ Client / Consulting Company;Check that all relevant check and quality control forms are completed by the sub-contractor.This is role would suit an experienced Electrical Engineer with a vast amount of experience in a consulting environment on major rail and substation projects with a good understanding and hands on experience in Over Head Wire Transmission Engineering.
