A well respected client has an immediate need for a Sensory Evaluator for its Eastern Texas location. The client is actively search and wants to fill this position in 30 days. No scientists please.

Responsibilities:

-> Describe accurately the sensory characteristics of all raw materials and most finished products
-> Creating and stage proper sensory samples using sensitive analytical balances to weigh out raw materials and formulas
-> Work closely with teams during the investigation process of both internal and external non-conformances to determine root cause analysis
-> Make decisions on final Pass/Fail analysis of raw materials and finished product
-> Continuously improve evaluation skills through palate enhancement programs
-> Assist with the development of Sensory Evaluators

Requirements:

-> Bachelor Degree in Food Science or in relevant sciences or Certification in Culinary Sciences
-> 3-5 years related experience in the sensory evaluation of seasonings and flavors may be substituted for bachelor degree
-> Required to taste all samples without restriction on any given day
-> Cannot be color blind nor have any food allergies
-> 5-10 years related experience in the sensory evaluation of seasonings and flavors is a big plus
