Our client, a statewide organisation involved in managing and developing recreational facilities, require the services of a capable project manager to assist with major and minor construction project works their vast portfolio.
The duties will be to deliver major capital works and minor works projects associated with recreational facilities such as a new build sports halls, accommodation fit outs, extensions, changing rooms, access tracks etc. You will also mentor and work with junior project managers and drive on smaller projects.
The successful candidate will come from a construction or building background, degree or trade qualified and have worked as a client side project manager. It is envisaged you would have at least 5+ years post qualification experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and excellent communication.
Exposure to similar facilities and working with the public sector would be advantageous.
This role will be a 12-month agency contract with an option to extend. It is to start ASAP and pays very good rates. The position is only open to candidates with full working rights in Australia.
