Civil conbtractor privately owned company since 1977 specialising in Construction, Health, Hospitality, Interiors, Civil, Retail, Water, Developments and Defence.

Structures/Earthworks Supervisor - Canberra-ACT

Our client is currently experiencing significant growth in a number of our divisions and as a result we are looking for an outstanding Structures and or Earthworks Supervisors for a new Civil project in Canberra.

You will report to the Project Manager and your responsibilities will be to ensure the effective and overall management of the project whilst ensuring timely and profitable completion. Specifically you will ensure the planning, programming, monitoring and supervising and control and evaluation of the daily site activities including Quality Control, OHS and Environmental management, purchasing of supplies etc.

Ideally your experience will have been based with a recognised contractor within the Australian marketplace.

It is expected that you will be trade qualified or with the equivalent knowledge, skills and local experience, have proven and extensive experience in site supervision in earthworks and or structures on large infrastructure projects with ability to effectively influence, lead and motivate others, a high level of initiative and the ability to resolve problems as they arise, you will have excellent verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
