Our client provides consulting services to the mining sector and requires a Principal Consultant - Geology to assist in the growth of their business in Western Australia.

Purpose of the position:

Further develop the company's consulting business within Western Australia, Northern Territory & South Australia

The Duties & Responsibilities include:

Identifying business growth opportunities
Securing new business & managing existing client relationships
Negotiating commercial agreements
Managing teams, projects & reviewing technical work
Skills, Attributes & Experience required:

This position will require someone with technical skills, commercial acumen and a strong network within the geology field of the WA mining industry. It is envisaged that the successful person will:

Be a tertiary qualified Geologist
Be a JORC Competent person
Have strong relationship building skills
Have previous experience within a consulting environment
Be a self-starter and be driven to succeed
