Progressive fast growing firm
My client is a successful civil contracting firm who due to the winning of additional infrastructure projects have an urgent need for an experienced Estimator to join their team.

Reporting to the General Manager your responsibilities will include:

Tender management
Reviewing of tender documents for scope of works
Assisting with the preparation and checking of schedules or bills of quantities
Preparation of cost plans and approximate estimates
Development and maintenance of relationships with relevant subcontractors
Analysis of previous tenders to assist with ongoing success in role
Your background will include:

Minimum 5 years relevant Australian experience
Ability to multi task and switch between active tenders
Able to work as part of tightly knit team
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience in RTA projects and bulk earthworks will be highly regarded
Excellent PC literacy skills as well as MS Project and Suretrak
Demonstrated understanding of " First Principles Estimating"
