Our client is looking for a Rail Project Manager with a proven rail construction background. You will have experience on rail projects and have a solid permanent way background. The position is a key role with a leading contractor. Experience with planning, bidding and implementation is sought as well as delivery expertise. You will be managing a recently awarded rail project consisting of rerailing, reconditioning, ballasting and resleepering.

The Rail Project Manager will be required to manage projects and resources in compliance with client, safety and company requirements and deliver them on time and within budget. Other duties will include:

Project delivery
Estimating and business development
Planning
Budgets and forecasting
Resource allocation
Procurement
Progress reporting
Staff management
Bid work
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Rail Project Manager to join a growing contractor with the opportunity of further career advancement. A civil engineering degree with a proven permanent way background is essential. 5 years experience in the Australian rail sector is sought, with proven project management experience and evidence of project delivery. This role is only open to candidates eligible for work in Australia and oversea candidates will not be considered.
