Underground Mining Engineer

Our client, one of Western Australia's premier companies, has proven itself to be a resilient player in the underground mining industry. This company produces a range of metals and minerals including copper, lead, zinc, gold and silver.

As a result of continued expansion we are now looking for two engineers to join this busy team. An Underground Mining Engineer plus a Senior Underground Mining Engineer are required.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that all technical aspects relating to the underground development and production are completed
Ensure production targets are achieved
Assist with short, medium and long term planning
Undertake scheduling activities
Requirements

Degree qualified Mining Engineer
Minimum of 2 years in an underground mining environment (5 for the Senior role)
Sound knowledge of Vulcan & EPS
Experience with SAP
Operational and planning experience at a senior level
A First Class Mine Managers Certificate (for the Senior role)
This position is offered on a permanent basis on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth. On offer is a modern and spacious camp with a gym, pool, tennis court and Foxtel. A very attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
