After being at the forefront in the provision of transmission and distribution solutions for over 100 years, instrumental in the development and construction of the modern power substation - and the automated systems that control them - and having met the challenges of rising energy consumption through innovations in R&D, my client continues to experience rapid growth. In keeping with this strategy, they seek to appoint a Secondary Design and Test Engineer.

In this role, you are responsible for all aspects of secondary T&D design work. The work that you will undertake include the carrying out of transmission systems analysis and planning studies as well as conducting factory and site testing to validate the correct implementation of these designs. Your knowledge of electrical theory, local utilities experience and knowledge of Australian design codes combined with your ability to prepare cost estimates and assist with tender preparation will be a vital asset.

If you are a degree qualified Electrical Engineer with extensive T&D design experience, have undertaken design and test implementation work and can demonstrate an ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders, then this is an exciting opportunity.
