Senior Geologist (Analysis / Geostatics) VANCOUVER, BC, Canada
Salary Range: Depending on experience
Our valued client, an international mining company in Vancouver, is looking for an Senior Geologist for their Western Hemisphere ooperations. This position is primarily an analytical role, although there will be some Business development, and management as well.
This is an great opportunity to get in with a company with a solid financial backing and excellent long term compensation opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
- Geologic analysis and interpretation of the data
- Geostatistics, putting verifiable numbers onto the data.
- Geometallurgy, figuring out if the stuff can be processed.
- Resource estimates and NI 43-101 reporting.
- Management and Mentorship of a team of Geologists
- Will be involved in all Geological projects within the region
- Recommending and implementing procedures and policies.
- Handling of the operational aspects associated with new and old Geological projects
Requirements: - A minimum of 15 years of Geology including exploration and development experience.
- Experience in South America would be considered an additional asset.
- A Professional Geologist registered with APEGBC or APEGGA.
- An undergraduate degree in Geology.
- Spanish language skill are a preference
- Must have international experience
