We are currently seeking a Mine Engineer to join the team at a world-class mining company in Central Queensland.
The company is currently operating in more than 15 countries worldwide including a number of established operations throughout Australia. Their success is reflected by their longevity in multiple commodity markets and providing solid careers for more than 50 thousand
Employees.
This position will require you to provide technical support in related mine projects and mining engineering tasks with high level of interaction with technical and mine operations teams. This role reports to the Planning Superintendent.
Your core duties will include:
Project scoping & scheduling.
Drill & Blast design and QA/QC analysis
Short and medium term mine planning
Short and Medium term mine design.
Ancillary project reporting.
Mine budgeting and NPI Reporting.
To be considered for this position, you will need:
Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering.
3-5 years post graduate in Mining Engineering.
Well developed communication skills.
Strong analytical skills & project experience.
High level of competency with computers.
MineSight experience will be an advantage
This role is a residential based role with a flexible family-friendly roster. You will be located in a very well established and large residential community, which boasts an exciting number of sporting and leisure activities as well as an array of bars, restaurants and major retail chains.
