A Piper-Morgan Personnel exclusive, this is an exceptional opportunity for the well-experienced oil and gas Business Devlopment professional to join this start-up oil and gas company with initial capitalization of $500 million. Although the title is Vice President of Business Development, for now this is an individual contributor's role and definitely must have the self-starter, well-connected person who will use established industry contacts and make the calls to mine the industry for potential acquisitions. This company is focused on producing property acquisitions with potential for further upside development. Geographic focus of the company is onshore south and east Texas. You will enjoy a very attractive base salary, generous annual bonus, and equity participation.
To qualify for this outstanding position, the following credentials are mandatory:
*strong business development track record in the oil and gas industry
*strong track record of successful deals closed - must be able to produce deal sheet list
*experience should include work for a small to midsize oil and gas independent
*excellent communication skills
*college degree
