Industrial Process Automation group seeks SureService Engineer III for it's Hawaiian location.

Responsibilities:

-> Ensures that company contractual obligations and customer's system design and control application requirements are satisfied in a manner that produces the maximum revenue for minimum cost
-> Provides field engineering service and support to customers to maximize their control system availability and facility productivity
-> Managing contracts, application support, process control configuration, and system performance solution development and implementation
-> System diagnostics, failure analysis, configuration services, hardware repair, and software upgrades/ migrations
-> Completes or directs control loop and system application tuning and is familiar with advance control techniques
-> Provides technical trouble shooting of process control equipment tied into the control system including valves, field measurement instruments, and other final control devices
-> Installation supervision and start-up assistance on new process control systems and/ or additions to existing systems
-> Assist with sales and pursuit of customer service contracts and services

Requirements:

-> Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering
-> 7+ years of experience in continuous or batch process control industry or technical degree with 12+ years of experience in such industries
-> Requires a conceptual knowledge of specialized control systems (i.e. boiler, batch, continuous, feedforward/ feedback, cascade, theory of control)
-> Requires an in-depth knowledge of configuration and applications level software
-> The ability to design and develop, configure, and implement a control strategy and application from P&ID instrument drawings
-> Working knowledge of networks, PlantWeb, and field bus technology's
-> Achieve 4 or more Sure Service Certifications as defined by Emerson SureService Certification Manual
-> Achieve professional level certification & graph's of DCS and PLC systems skills
