Systems Engineer - Surveillance/ Security/Electrical/Sensors

Leading supplier of communications and specialized products and services to the government seeks Senior Systems Engineer for its Critical Infrastructure and Border Security business.

Responsibilities:

-> Provide leadership to develop total solutions for Border Security and Force Detection requirements
-> Lead the definition and refinement of User and System CONOPS, System Requirements, and Specifications
-> Lead the design of systems and networks based on customer requirements
-> Lead the installation design team in determining proper system installation
-> Develop cost estimates for these systems and networks including; equipment costs, material costs, and installations costs
-> Lead design reviews and project coordination meetings
-> Generate technical diagrams, engineering and as built drawings, Bills of Materials, scopes of work, Test plans and procedures, implementation plans, logistics and sparing plans, project schedules and bid packages
-> Work with business development department to market the services of the company

Requirements:

-> BS Degree Electrical Engineering
-> Advanced technical degree a plus
-> 10 to 15 years experience in a applicable field
-> MUST have experience with leading a project team in the development of integrated solutions
-> MUST have experience developing technical and user documentation and training materials for integrated system
-> Complete engineering life cycle from concept and requirement development through installation, verification, and operational provisioning
-> Video analytics and sensor placement tools
-> Business development and proposal development principles
-> U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret level clearance or equivalent
