Established in Australia for over 25 years and with offices in every state our client has established themselves and a supplier of choice for process control instrumentation, test and measurement and automation control systems.

There is an existing team in QLD however they are looking to further penetrate the QLD & PNG markets. You will be responsible for proactively developing new business opportunities within the region (QLD and PNG) through the development of Executive level relationships (board level, Chief Engineer) with key clients in the desired markets.

Key Markets

Main verticals are Resources (mining), Energy (LNG Projects), Process industries (sugar).There is a strong install base and existing revenue streams however the focus of this role will be developing new business opportunities.
You will have / be

Engineering foundation and ideally technical competence within Industrial Automation & Controls Systems. Sustained history of success and achievement in B2B sales and business development of technology solutions into desired markets. Ability to foster long term relationships at senior level within the desired client base (energy, process, resources) Someone that has humility but also has business gravitas and a strong presence Results driven, hungry to succeed and a strong business developer. Candidate Profile Summary

Professional sales ability is more important than technical knowledge so the candidate may come from a similar technology differentiated market. Ideally they will have been operating within the Energy, Process and Resources market and will have strong existing relationships at senior level within key organisations within those markets.
